Job Description: Prepare and arrange the OT for scheduled surgeries and procedures.
Assist surgeons and nursing staff during surgical procedures.
Ensure availability and proper handling of surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies.
Perform sterilization and proper maintenance of surgical instruments as per protocol.
Check and maintain OT equipment before and after procedures.
Assist in maintaining aseptic techniques and infection control standards in the OT.
Ensure proper preparation and positioning of patients before surgery.
Maintain accurate records of surgeries, procedures, instruments, and OT consumables.
Coordinate with surgeons, anesthetists, nurses, and other departments for smooth OT functioning.
Ensure proper cleaning, disinfection, and readiness of the OT after every procedure.
Check availability of emergency drugs, surgical items, and other required consumables.
Follow hospital policies, OT protocols, safety guidelines, and infection control practices.
